I learned the craft of photography as a photojournalist, capturing moments in time that will never happen again. Based on that, one of my favorite things to do is being backstage or in recording sessions capturing intimate moments that will last a lifetime. I love shooting portraits, but when you are in a recording session and moments happen, there is nothing like the spontaneity and exhilaration of getting the shot. Behind the scenes photography is real and raw and authentic, yet one must always be discreet and discerning because that is where trust comes in. I have been fortunate to work with many amazing artists who have given me access, because they trust me. It is through this trust that you build a career , because the artist knows that as a photographer you will have not only your best interest in mind, but theirs as well.
