Roots n’ Ruckus: Feral Foster & More!

8:30pm – Feral Foster has been gigging in New York, across the country and in Europe for the past 10 years, capturing the imagination and attention of listeners with his impassioned singing and powerful songwriting. Foster draws from the deep wellspring of early blues, country, and jazz to tell contemporary, human stories, making for music that feels wellworn and strikingly fresh at the same time. He has become wellknown in the roots music scene for establishing, curating, and performing at Jalopy’s weekly Wednesday “Roots n’ Ruckus” review, which has become a premiere showcase for new and established talent.
9:00pm – Cynthia Blade is an NYC native and guitarist known best for playing through the streets of the city, particularly on the trains. She plays her guitar about four times a week on the subway and self-taught herself to play 18 years ago.
9:30pm – Trio Satburi are a group of three members who exhibit flawless and moving harmonies for every performance. With popular videos on YouTube, the trio advertise that their music gives a soul to the universe, in the words of Plato.
10:00pm – Nina EtCetera is comprised of Nina and Tim, who began studying vocal and guitar together at age 7.
When they are not on the road, they are writing and recording in a manner that combines the best of old and new technologies. Nina Et cetera has been performing professionally for the past 10 years in just about every imaginable venue across the Tri-State area
