Trombonist Mike Fahie’s vision is influenced by a wide variety of musical styles. Whether re-imagining the classics of Bach and Chopin, drawing inspiration from Ellington, Thad Jones and Bob Brookmeyer, or even contemporary artists like Bjork and Jay-Z, Fahie’s music embodies an adventurous spirit of experimentation.
