Contest Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

  1. Sponsors. The Gary U.S.Bonds  “80th Birthday Bash” Contest (the “Contest”) is operated and managed by B.L.Howard Productions. You may contact B.L. Howard Productions by regular first class mail at P.O. Box 297160, Brooklyn, New York, NY 11229 or by email at info@blhowardproductions.com.
  2. Rules. The Contest is governed by these rules, terms and conditions (the “Official Rules”). B.L. Howard Productions retains sole discretion to determine the eligibility of a participant or entry in accordance with these Official Rules and further retains the right to suspend or terminate the contest at any time and for any reason.
  3. Eligibility. To participate in the Contest, you must a.) be a legal resident of the fifty (50) United States, b.) Be at least 18 years of age at the time of entry, c.) Have a valid email address and are a member of the Brooklyn Roads mailing list and d.) Submit your entry to B.L. Howard Productions in accordance with the instructions provided on the B.L.Howard Productions /Brooklyn Roads contest emailer and/or on the Brooklyn Roads website, bkroads.net. Staffers and contributors to the Brooklyn Roads digital magazine are not eligible; Brooklyn Roads staffers and contributors are listed on the Contact Page on the Brooklyn Roads website.  
  4. Contest Period. The Contest begins at 05:30 pm EST on May 14, 2019 and ends at 11:59 pm on May 22, 2019. B.L. Howard Productions must receive entries within this time period. Any entries received outside of this Contest period are void.
  5. Entry Guidelines. Entries are accepted online only. No other forms of submission will be accepted. Entrants are limited to one (1) Contest Entry (“Entry”) per Brooklyn Roads subscriber. Multiple entries using one or multiple accounts will disqualify all contest entries. B.L. Howard Productions reserves the right to disqualify any Entry it deems inappropriate or irrelevant with respect to the Contest. B.L. Howard Productions also reserves the right to disqualify any Entry it deems unlawful, pornographic, hateful, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable. By entering the Contest, you expressly agree that:
  1. You are the sole and exclusive owner of your Entry;
  2. You have read and agree to the Official Contest Rules ;
  3. You agree to submit to the sole discretion of B.L. Howard Productions to deny acceptance of your entry based on any factor or number of factors determined by B.L. Howard Productions.By entering the Contest, each Entrant grants permission to B.L. Howard Productions to retain the information supplied and to use such information in future marketing campaigns or promotions at any time, in any form, in any media, without compensation of any kind and without notice, review or approval.
  1. Notification of Winners. Winners will be notified by email to the address provided on the Entry on or before Thursday, May 23, 2019 at 1:59 PM EST. It is the responsibility of the Entrant to provide a valid email address at the time of Entry and to confirm, via return email, on or before Friday, May 24, 2019 at 1:59 PM EST, that they received the email notification. One prize per Entrant only. Contest winners are ineligible from winning any other B.L. Howard Productions Contest for a period of one (1) month from the date their prize is awarded.
  2. Indemnification. By submitting an Entry, you agree to indemnify and hold B.L. Howard Productions and any of its’ officers, directors, predecessors, successors in interest, employees, agents and affiliates harmless from any demands, loss, liability, claims, or expenses (including attorneys’ fees) that may arise from your acceptance of the Contest prize or from any third party due to or arising out of or in connection with your Entry.
